OFFICIAL RULES

1. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. Void in Puerto Rico and where prohibited or restricted by law. Sweepstakes is open to legal residents of the continental United States, Alaska and Hawaii. The Promotion is not open to the employees or the immediate family members of individuals employed by K2 Sports, their parent, subsidiary and affiliated companies, licensees, advertising and promotional agencies, the independent judges, or those who have won a grand prize in any K2 promotion, contest or sweepstakes in the past year. All entries become the property of Sponsor and will not be returned.

2. Sweepstakes commences September 15, 2009 and ends December 31, 2009 ("Promotional Period").

3. TO ENTER: There are two ways to enter to win a "First Prize Ticket." The first way is to purchase a pair of 2009/10 Factory Team skis at a participating "Free Skis for Life" authorized K2 dealer. The purchaser of the ski will receive a scratch ticket (while supplies last) with the chance to win prizes including a First Prize Ticket.

Participants can also receive a scratch ticket (while supplies last) with the chance to win prizes including a First Prize Ticket by writing in. Entries need to include the name, address, phone number and age of the entrant, as well as a request for a scratch ticket. The entry needs to be mailed to:

Entrants must be postmarked no later than December 31, 2009, and must be received by January 14, 2010. Sponsors are not responsible for lost, stolen or invalid entries.

Odds of winning a First Prize Ticket through the scratch ticket are 1/1250.

The second way to enter to win a "First Prize Ticket" is online. Entry information will be posted on www.freeskisforlife.com starting on or about 12:00 noon Eastern Standard Time (EST) November 1, 2009 and ending at 12:00 noon on December 31, 2009. Only one entry per person. By entering, entrant acknowledges compliance with these official rules including all eligibility requirements. Sponsors are not responsible for any problems or technical malfunctions, human error, lost/delayed data transmission, omission, interruption, tampering, deletion, defect, line failures of any telephone network, computer online systems, servers or providers. Registrations that have been tampered with, altered, incomplete, or inaccurate are void. Computer equipment, software, failure of e-mail or players on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any website or any combination thereof, including injury or damage to participants or to any other person's computer related to or resulting from participating or downloading materials in this Promotion. If, for any reason, the Promotion is not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other cause beyond the control of the Sponsors which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this Promotion, Sponsors reserve the right at their sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend this Promotion. Should the Promotion be terminated or cancelled prior to the stated expiration date, notice will be posted on the website, and any entries received prior to the termination or cancellation will be included in the judging. The use of any system or agent to submit entries in connection with this Promotion is prohibited and will result in disqualification.

In the event of dispute over the identity of a potential winner, online entries will be declared made by the authorized account holder of the email address submitted at the time of entry, and the potential winner may be required to provide identification sufficient to show that he/she is the authorized account holder of the email address submitted upon entry. "Authorized account holder" is the natural person who is assigned to an email address by the Internet access provider, online service provider, or other organization that is responsible for assigning email addresses. Every entry submission must be manually keystroked and manually entered by the individual entrant. Automated and/or repetitive electronic submission of entries (including but not limited to entries made using any script, macro, bot or sweepstakes service) will be disqualified and transmissions from any related email or IP addresses may be blocked.

Entrants may also write in for a chance to win an online "First Prize Ticket." Entries need to include the name, address, phone number and age of the entrant, as well as a request to be entered into the online portion. The entry needs to be mailed to:

Odds of winning a First Prize Ticket through the online portion depend on the number of valid entries received.

4. The Concept of the Online or write in Promotion: The potential Winner will be selected from among all eligible Free Skis for Life registrants, on or about January 14, 2010. Limit one (1) prize per household/individual.

To be deemed an Official Winner ("Winner"), Potential Winner must, within ten (10) business days from receiving notification, respond and furnish to K2 Sports all requested information (e.g. complete name, address, telephone number, and e-mail address). If Potential Winner fails to respond within ten (10) business days of being notified, he/she will be disqualified and an alternate Potential Winner will be chosen at random from all remaining eligible entries.

5. The prizing is as follows:

Five (5) First Prize tickets: Four scratch tickets and the winner of the online entry will comprise a First Prize Ticket. The winners of the First Prize Ticket will receive a 2 day trip to Seattle for (1) person. Prize Package will consist of the following: (i) a 2-day stay for one (1) person in Seattle, Washington: (ii) accommodations for one (1) person in one room at the Hotel Maxx. Accommodations will be arranged by Sponsor; (iii) round-trip coach air transportation for one (1) person between the gateway airport nearest Winner's residence and SeaTac Airport. Airline carrier regulations and conditions apply, and airline travel will be arranged by Sponsor; (iv) a day of skiing with K2 athlete Seth Morrison in Washington. Sponsor is not responsible for weather related closures of any Washington ski resorts during this time frame. All expenses not specifically mentioned herein are not included and are solely the winner's responsibility, including but not limited to: transportation between the Winner's residence and any airport of origin; meals and alcoholic beverages; parking fees; laundry service; merchandise; souvenirs; tips; telephone calls and travel insurance; state, federal or local taxes or fees. The winners must take this trip on 5/17/2010 -5/19/2010.

Grand Prize (1): Free Skis for life that entitles the Grand Prize Winner to a single pair of skis every 2 years for a total of 50 years or the life of the winner. K2 Athlete Seth Morrison will select randomly and on his own discretion one of the five (5) First Prize Tickets holders who will be given the prize of Free Skis for Life.

Travel and lodging are subject to availability, certain restrictions, blackout dates and Sponsor's approval. Total value may vary depending upon point of origin and seasonal fluctuations of rates and airfares. Prize is not redeemable for cash or transferable, except to a surviving spouse residing in the same household, or otherwise at the sole discretion of the Sponsor.

Total Approximate Retail Value ("ARV") per person of Free Skis for Life Promotion Prizing including the Golden Ticket Prize package is: $14,500.00.

6. All prizing is non-transferable and has no cash equivalent. Substitution of prize by Winners is prohibited. Sponsors reserve the right in their sole discretion to substitute any prize with a prize of equal or comparable value. In the event that the Winner chooses not to accept his/her prize, or is unable to be notified, an alternate Winner will be randomly selected from all of the remaining entries. Winner is solely responsible for all insurance, registration, and all applicable federal, state, and local taxes, and Sponsor will provide each Winner with a 1099 Tax Form.

7. Winners must prove eligibility. Winners under the age of 18 must have their parents' and/or legal guardians consent to accept prizes. If one of the First Prize Ticket holders is under the age of 18, only the Winner’s trip will be paid for, but the Winner must be accompanied by a legal guardian. Registration into Promotion constitutes Prize Winner's agreement to sign an affidavit of eligibility and any other legal documents that Sponsors may require (including W-9 and/or a 1099 Tax Form). Receipt of any of the prize components of this Promotion is conditioned upon compliance with any and all applicable federal, state, provincial, and local laws, rules, and regulations. Noncompliance will result in disqualification of Winner.

8. By participating in this Promotion, registrants agree to be bound by these rules and the decisions of the Sponsors, which are final in all matters relating to this Promotion. Registrants also agree to hold Sponsors harmless from any responsibility or liability whatsoever for any injuries, losses, illnesses, litigations or damages of any kind resulting from acceptance, possession or use/misuse of any prize or participation in the promotion. In the event that any dispute arises regarding the meaning or interpretation of these official rules, participants agree that the dispute shall be resolved by applying the laws of the state of Washington and that it shall be resolved by and within the courts of that state.

9. Publicity: By accepting the prize, the winner consents to the use of his or her name and likeness by Sponsor, in all media, for advertising and promotional purposes without additional compensation (except if winner is a resident of TN or where otherwise prohibited by law).
